Hi all,
The first instalment of the cost of living payment (£326) will be paid into accounts tomorrow.
It will come from/show as DWP C O L.

The DWP have also stated this week there is likely to be/will almost certainly be a two-week delay from 14/7/2022 or even till the end of July!!! They cite people with "unique circumstances" of all reasons for delay in payment whatever that might be. Is it DWP incompetence yet again??
I just hope everyone on this forum who qualifies for it gets it tomorrow as initially announced.....

Hi Dalglish60,
Yes, I heard that too.
It showed up in my pending transactions in the early hours this morning to be credited after midnight tonight.
I didn’t think I’ll get it on time because you can never tell with DWP and their algorithms. So, hopefully, everyone eligible will get it tomorrow.
I still haven’t got the Council Tax Rebate.

Providing you were in receipt of a qualifying benefit in the period of 26 April 2022 to 25 May 2022 then you will be paid between 14 and 31 July 2022 for most people. www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-payment
