Hi Gary
Thank you for your reply, so i rang the DWP PIP helpline re PA3, pleasant lady, put me on hold for quite a while, came back and said, there was no assessment done !! as you had completed a comprehensive review form and provided so much evidence to support your review which detailed your medical problems and so much supporting evidence we made a decision to continue your pip for an ongoing period till 2032??? confirmed decision letter which i had received, not sure if this is normal.

Hi newcastle1949
Thank you for letting us know, it is something I have not come across in my day job although I read about it on this forum in the past.
I don't know how common your situation comes up, it will be good to hear from forum members if they have had the same situation as yourself.
As you have been awarded ongoing then you can sit back and rest for the next ten years.

Hi,
Yes, I had the same response from the call centre when I requested the PA3 for my review, I was told they had used the information I provided to make a decision so a report was not needed. I also received an ongoing award.
