Update everyone
My carer completed the AR1 form and sent a substantial amount of medical evidence, the bundle was sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery on Thursday, tracked and it was signed for on Friday by DWP, so i rang them to advise them, again a nice lady she said she would note it on my file because of the mishap with the first form not being received i wanted to make sure i updated them, i gave her the special delivery reference number which she also noted on my file and she said it would hopefully be scanned onto their system yesterday afternoon, she read the notes and said oh your PIP has been put back into payment and told me when i would receive the shortfall of money and that my payments would continue being paid until my review was completed, I asked any idea how long this would take, she said it could be quite a while as your extended award is not due to end till April 2023, and we are currently concentrating on new PIP claims not reviews and there are a substantial amount of new claims, i will ring next week to check that they have scanned everything onto their system, but relieved that my payments are back on track, stressful having to constantly ring them but morally i felt i was right, i did not receive the first form or reminder letter and pleased i dealt with nice people at PIP, thanks for all of your advice, i will keep you posted.
Best Wishes

Hi Sweetheart, glad to hear everything is back on track again for you.
You can have a little respite now until they start dealing with your renewal again.
I am in a similar boat as you, sent my renewal in March this year and my extension is till Jan 23 so a few months more yet ?
Goodluck

Update
Hi Everyone, just to follow on from my previous posts, so today the white envelope arrives re PIP review, decision, enhanced mobility and daily living (which i have been on) awarded from 10 November for an Ongoing Period (not really sure what this means) trying to take it in as hubby been in hospital and just home, so head a bit all over, presume good news, advice, follow the Fab B and W Guides, reach out to the fab mods when you are struggling, detail everything to the DWP with regards to medical evidence (send copies) and complete the form with as much info re your health as possible, send everything if you can afford to by special delivery signed for, and follow up with a phone call,
Have a lovely weekend
Best Wishes

Hi newcastle1949
Congratulations on your award, an on going period means 10 years, so you can now take it easy and look after your husband without the worry about PIP renewals for quite some time.
Thank you for your kind and wisdom words, they do help fellow forum members.
I will tag your post so that the back office also get to read your encouraging post.
