New application with sick pay? was created by joebloggs
Hello, I signed up a few weeks ago. Ive read various topics for many years of & on esp, when my mum was ill.

For some reason I'm not seeing any of the forums. But Im still trying options such as ad block, cookies etc.
For this reason I cant tell if there are already posts with my situation.

Having read most of the applicable guides, something occurred to me. Most of the guides seem to be about avoiding activity to find work. However my situation is different in that I have a job and will be receiving sick pay from my employer.
I initially applied for esa but after speaking to one of the advisors Ive cancelled that and applied for UC. Ive just receive the sp50 questionnaire.

it seems to me the dwp are focused on people being in one of two categories. Either working or dying. Anything in between is designed to cause so much hassle, grief, stress to force people in to one or the other.

No where have I found options to select that I not only have a very good job that is going to pay me ssp, but if our wonderful NHS wasnt so preoccupied with diversity, ivf, gender issues, and a retention problem expecting underpaid nurses to work ridiculous 12hr shifts, I might get the treatment I need to get back to work, earn a decent wage again so I can tell the dwp to swivel on their mountain of twisted paperwork.

So after nearly two years of severe pain, unable to walk or stand, repeated useless rhetoric and even physio by email from overpaid crap GPs, I have reluctantly had to stop work and stay home. i've still yet to even see a specialist but I still need to fill in a booklet on what my 'medical' problems might be. And now the screwed up Gov. wants to create a whole new agenda (law) on womens menopause.
Sorry for the rant - But Really ??

Hi joebloggs

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum

I have read your post several times but cannot find a question, do you have a specific question?

Gary
