Esa no answer on phone was created by cozza54
For 1 week now I have been trying to get to talk to someone in esa to tell them I have got an inheritance. As I don't want to get in to trouble .
But no one answers the phone all you get all are agents are busy. Some will answer soon .I've held on now for 55min.1hr .50min .20min 40min .I've tried all diffrent times sometime I've rang 3 time in a day .dead on 8 am I've phones and get all are agents are busy .
I think I'm going to have to go to my local jobcentre plus to see if they can help .
I dont want to send details by post as things go missing as I've had that before

Hi Cozza54
See if your job centre plus can help you, or I would post a letter - because it is the best proof that you have tried to inform them (providing you keep a copy).

Hi Cozza54
If you do send a letter by post, make sure you send it by recorded delivery.

As suggested, I would write in to ESA, keeping a copy of what you write. Your local JC+ office might be able to send on the letter but it's probably just as easy and maybe even quicker to write in. An alternative is you could visit JC+ and hand in a copy of the letter to them and then post another copy.
I assume you are on income related ESA? If it is contributory ESA then you don't need to inform them.

I had to contact ESA a few times last year and the quickest I got through to them was over half an hour. One call took 2 hours to get to speak to someone. For 1 week now I have been trying to get to talk to someone in esa to tell them I have got an inheritance. As I don't want to get in to trouble .
