poor tribunal submission was created by lauren
Hi, I decided to go for a tribunal after my MR failed. After submitting medical evidence and photographs to the online tribunal form. I thought I could try and relax and wait for a result.
Whilst waiting I re read my statement which accompanies the evidence. To my horror it appears that not all of my statement has gone through on the online form! Either that or I have completely bungled it.
Should I request to add to my statement or send additional info as evidence.?
Im so upset.I dont have a representative either so I cant see it being successful as it is.
Any help greatfully received.I
I have been told that the DWP have been given three extra weeks to give a reply so I think there is time.

Hi Lauren,
When you sent in the online appeal, if you provided an email address, you should have received confirmation email, saying the appeal has been lodged This may take a day to arrive if the appeal is done late in the day.
The email will have a contact postal address to send in extra evidence.
If you didn't leave an email address, you will receive a postal confirmation of the appeal. This will also have a contact address for the tribunal.
Send in the completed submission now, or you can await the receipt of the appeal papers (DWP response) there is usually a bit of delay before the hearing, even once the papers are out. Basically as long as you send your complete sub in by 2 weeks before the hearing date you will be fine.
If really necessary I'll can be presented to the tribunal at the hearing, but then you run the risk of getting an adjournment, so try to get the paperwork done as soon as you can, but it is not urgent.
However you send in the completed submission, make sure you explain that you don't believe it uploaded properly the first time. (Worst case scenario is that the sub did go through and you send a duplicate, so don't worry!)
Make sure you include the unique reference which will be on the confirmatory email or letter sent from the Tribunal, or else on DWP'S response.
I hope this helps.
Good luck.

Hi. I submitted an online appeal a few days ago. If I log into the account I created to submit the appeal, there's a link which can be used to submit further evidence to the tribunal. The link is titled 'Provide Evidence '. If you click it, the next page has a link 'submit your evidence'. It then gives the option to either write information or to upload documents.
My email from the courts & tribunals service, confirming my appeal's been lodged, has a link to a page about 'providing evidence to support your appeal'. This page also has the 'Provide Evidence' link. Hope this helps. Good luck
