Holiday and pip review

Due to go on holiday next week and my pip review is due very soon , my pip ends 15 th august 22
Sent review off July 21 ! A long time.

Had a text 27 July 22 from pip saying ,, “ we still have your pip form and will be progressing your review soon “ you may need as assessment with a health professional , you only need to contact us if your circumstances change “

Whats bothering me what if I get paperwork from pip with a date for review , as I won’t be home to retrieve mail , and miss the appointment ?

I have had 4 texts from pip in 12 months , 1 was to say they received my review form.

I did contact them twice with change in circumstances. Ie medication change and surgery.
And an update on review ,, we have a backlog !

Don’t even know if it will be a face to face as it was last time due to being anxious in driving to assessment place.

Do I contact pip as surely everyone is due a holiday. Get so tongue tied when I have to speak on the phone to a stranger.

I'm not totally sure that this applies to PIP Reviews, but I'm sure the MOD's will know, but back in the day, there was the facility to confirm/advise of your availability, perhaps this is still the case and you you could advise them that you will be unavailable?

Will pluck up the courage and phone tomorrow, it says I’m to only contact them in change in circumstances,, but then a year is a long time to not have a change.
