Pip assessment illness changed since sent back form and other questions was created by Xyz
Hi I sent back a pip form saying nothing had changed months or even years ago. But since then my medications have been changed and my diagnoses. I received two voicemails unexpected saying a lady was calling to do a pip assessment on Wednesday. I usually always have do not disturb on my phone as I don't like phone calls plus am asleep a lot sometimes. I had no warning of this phonecall. I want to do face to face instead can I get this if I ask and do I need to give reasons why? Also what do I do about the form saying I am the same when now I am different? I'm thinking that to prepare I should fill in a new pip form so that when the assessor goes thru each box I have something in writing to refer to. Why didn't they send me a letter with an appointment for the phone call is this normal because it is ridiculous that I would randomly be ready with zero warning. (I have bipolar with psychotic features, borderline personality disorder and complex ptsd.)

Hi xyz
You need to get onto the DWP immediately and say that you should have been given seven days' notice for an assessment. I would normally say ring the assessment services, but I assume they did not leave you a telephone number to phone back?
You need to ring urgently because you don't want to say that you haven't taken part in the process. I
With regard to changes since you returned the form, they can only take a note of what you wrote at that time. You would need to put in for a change of circumstances. You could say this when you ring and see if they will stop the process and give you the time to send in a new form.
Either way, you need to ring as a matter of urgency.
