Hi All, I like many thousands more am trying to cope this coming winter, making savings cutting back. Heat or eat is no longer a funny statement. We have stopped using the tumble dryer, are only going to heat one room and adding curtains to doors. Eating cold meals rather than using the cooker will also be high on the agenda. Nice hot water to bathe in a definite no no. We will all be thinking of alternative means to save electricity and gas and oil. Several thousand older people will die as usual this winter, collateral damage and less benefits to pay out. Now answer me this. How many prisoners will die from the same conditions. If it was thousands and level with the aged then there would be outrageous calls for an enquiry and compensation for the bereaved families. Barristers up and down the country would offer themselves to the cause for justice of this monumental mishandling of human lives. As for the people who have worked hard all their lives, toed the line and never broke the laws, they can disappear without a tear shed. Crime does not pay, pull the other one.
