Cost of Living Payment was created by Will
Can anyone tell me if the CoL payment is paid in full if living with a relative who doesn't claim benefits? Am I entitled to just half of the full payment? I have received the first half already.
I have searched online but cannot find anything. I hate ringing the DWP for anything but don't want to get in trouble if I am only entitled to half.
Thanks.

Hi Philip B
You are entitled to the full payment, the first payment will be for £326, the second payment has not yet been announced. If you have a joint claim then you will only get one payment.
If you’re eligible, you’ll be paid automatically in the same way you usually get your benefit or tax credits. This includes if you’re found to be eligible for a Cost of Living Payment or a Disability Cost of Living Payment at a later date.
You could get up to 3 different types of payment depending on your circumstances on a particular date or during a particular period:
a Cost of Living Payment, if you get a qualifying low income benefit or tax credits
a Disability Cost of Living Payment, if you get a qualifying disability benefit
a Pensioner Cost of Living Payment, if you’re entitled to a Winter Fuel Payment for winter 2022 to 2023.
These payments are not taxable and will not affect the benefits or tax credits you get.

Mods - apologies for posting this question twice within a month of each other. My first post did not show up in 'my Topics' so I presumed it had not been accepted. In fact none of my previous topics were visible. It is now displaying all my topics. I have not changed any settings in my browser so not sure what the problem was.
