Late PIP payment was created by Audrey
Hello
My PIP payment is late by over two weeks. Tried contacting PIP to find out what's the reason behind this but the call ends unexpectedly or the PIP representative hangs up on me - not the first time.
Has anyone else experienced late payment in the last few months?
Thank you

Hi Audrey
The only advice I can give is for you to keep ringing. If your payment is two weeks late - something is wrong and you need to find out the reason asap. I know it's stressful but keep trying.

Hi Audrey
Whenever you phone up the DWP always ask for the name of the person you are talking to, you usually only get the first name, I usually do that first before I start discussing why I contacted, I also use their name when talking to them.
If they put the phone down on you at least you have a name.
Keep a note in a diary about your call, date, time, name of contact.

Hi,
Good advice and something I do all the time. I also note the time I started dialling, the time I actually got to speak to someone and the time the call finished.
This approach saved me from a large bill from Orange when I ordered a monthly contract sim. When the month ended and I no longer needed the sim, Orange tried telling me it was a 12 month contract. I just provided the details I`d recorded, after which an apology from Orange followed.
