Hi. I have received a text from DWP today about my PIP appeal.
It says they have found in my favour and closed my appeal. Does that mean they have given me what I asked for in the appeal or could it just be a partial change?
Hi Shaisum, I think you will have to await the actual decision notice. It rather depends on what you were appealing. If you were on standard daily living arguing enhanced, then DWP would have awarded the enhanced to close the appeal. But if you had eg no daily living award but argued for enhanced, the new decision might only be standard. You can still appeal if you disagree with the new decision. However the award might be everything you argued for! It sounds like good news anyway. Well done. LL26
