Can I please ask that moderators that at some point they produce one of their fantastic guides, this time on those of us in Scotland being transferred from PIP or DLA to the new ADP replacement? I understand it would probably be very similar to existing PIP guides but there are differences which we would appreciate guidance on. For example, I have the top rates of care and mobility having been on DLA for over 20 years with an indefinite award. I have gotten much worse health wise since my original award was made and my best supporting medic has now retired. Would his professional judgement still be accepted?
As far as I am aware, the criteria for ADP are currently the same as PIP, the initial changes apply to payments and the assessment process.
If the criteria change then the office will take view as to whether this can be covered in the current guide or whether a new and specific guide need to be produced.
