PIP Review received today. Award was until March 2023! Just do not understand was created by angie2
Dreaded review form arrived today requesting return by 27 September 2022! But its not due till February 2023???
Feeling very distressed, upset, and anxious.
Why??
And I had planned to be away 25/09 to 26/10 as not been anywhere since lockdown and not seen my 87yr old mother!: feeling very sad and in despair. Last time I was suicidal!

Hi Angie2
I think the best thing you could do is to call and ask for an extension.
Explain that you are away in September and that you need more time.
I totally get your anxiety here but please use the guide on the site to complete the review.
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip#claims
Make sure you provide details of everything not just new stuff.
Even if they grant the extension, as I certainly think they will, you would be sensible to start preparing the review form and the evidence starting today. It’s all too easy sometimes to kick the problem down the road but it will eventually recur and with more urgency.
If you have anyone who could work through this with you then that could help.
Regards
Pete

Hi I just wanted to mention that I think all the PIP reviews are being sent out and asked to be returned about 6 months before the previous award comes to an end. My daughters award is to December 22 and she had to send her form back in May 22. We are still waiting to hear the outcome.
It is such an awful process of never ending forms and waiting and by the time you get the award, which may only be for a year or 2 - they send the review form out again 6 months later and you have to go through the cycle all over again.
You should get an extension. I am sorry you will have this hanging over you when on holiday.
