On Monday 19th September 2022 I need to enter a financial change in my circumstances to my online Universal Credit account as that is the actual date of change.
Monday 19th September 2022 is now officially going to be a bank holiday throughout the entire UK.
The Government website states "This bank holiday will operate in the same way as other bank holidays, and there is no statutory entitlement to time off. Employers may include bank holidays as part of a worker’s leave entitlement."
I understand Universal Credit/DWP will not have anybody working on Monday 19th September 2022 so nothing will be actioned about any changes I declare until Tuesday 20th September 2022 at the earliest.
Will I be able to login online to my Universal Credit account on Monday 19th September 2022 and make any changes or will I have to login on Tuesday 20th September 2022 and put the date of change as 19 09 2022 (the previous day).
Is it likely the government will close all government websites on Monday 19th September 2022?
The government won't be shutting down their websites, and you'll be able to access it as normal on that day. As they have said no one will be working so you won't get a reply.
