DWP received my PiP review form at beginning of July 2022 and received the standard acknowledgement text. (PiP was awarded till May 2023).
Today I received text message from Independent Assessment Services saying they are dealing with my review and may need me to attend face to face assessment but will contact me in due course. It has taken them approx 9 weeks to get to this stage which is quite speedy in comparison to what some people are waiting. (I live in Scotland).
A friend of my mine who lives in same postcode waited approx 12 months and has telephone assessment this week
Really my post is merely an update / info for forum users, however does this seem quicker than normal ?
Thank you for giving us an update. It is quick, but I wouldn't let that alarm you - I would just be pleased that you are not going to have to wait as long as your friend.
