PIP Video Assessment was created by BirtyB
I had my assessment a couple of weeks ago by video consultation. I had contacted the assessment provider and asked for it to be recorded. I was told that if I wanted it recording I would have to change to a telephone appointment, which would create a longer delay. I have a neurological problem , as yet not diagnosed, so thought it would be best to have an assessment where the assessor could see me. After the assessment I asked PIP for a copy of the assessor's report that finally came today. The assessor has practically ignored more neurological problems only mentioning it as not yet being diagnosed. I have had consultations with a neurologist and have been referred to see a neurologist who specialises in movement disorders. I asked the assessor if they had contacted the consultant I named and they answered "absolutely", yet there is no input of information obtained from the consultant. Anyhow, I recorded the assessment on my mobile phone which captured all the audio and video if me. No visual recording of the assessor was done. Can I use this as evidence when it comes to the MR stage. I have also now received a copy of the latest letter sent from my neurologist to my GP. Is it worth uploading this as further evidence even though I have had my assessment. Thanks
