PIP review telephone assessment was created by jinglis
My last PIP award expired early 2021. i was initially advised of a 6month extension due to covid, then i was sent a PIP review form. I returned this in July 2021. Although no reply arrived I'm still receiving payment but its begun to be an issue in renewing my blue badge so i thought i best phone. Although already on enhanced care and enhanced mobility my health has deteriorated in last few years so she said that would have put the review in the backlog waiting for assessor. It seemed I had been awarded an extension til 30th Sept 2022 although no one had told me. 2weeks ago i got a text saying they'll be phoning on Thursday morning to do telephone assessment. I live in Scotland so I'm just wondering or even hoping if there's any chance it will be cancelled as PIP no longer being administered in Scotland?

Hi jinglis

Your benefit will move from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to Social Security Scotland if you:

live in Scotland
get Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
This will happen between summer 2022 and summer 2024.

A new Scottish benefit called Adult Disability Payment is replacing PIP. This is happening as part of Scottish devolution. www.mygov.scot/personal-independence-payment-is-moving

Independent advocates are available to help you throughout the process of having your benefit moved to Social Security Scotland.

The Independent Advocacy Service is provided by VoiceAbility.

If you need an advocate, you should:
