WCA assessment report

I am trying to get hold of my assessment report, I got lcw and just wanted to see how they had reached the decision etc I have tried ringing the number on the decision message, was told no we don’t do that, asked in my journal and have been given a number for the assessment company… what is going on!?

Hi Victoria, I just went through this whole cycle of unhelpfulness. I rang the number and they told me to try the journal. I tried the journal and they gave me the number of the assessment company. I rang the assessment company and they said they never send them to anyone other than DWP. I have to say this makes sense I suppose because the assessment company is contracted by DWP and would not know if a decision had been reached or not so would not have authority to send it out to individuals.
Anyway I am lucky but we have a nice work coach and when we saw them the following week and told them about this they spent some time tracking down the UC85 for me. They messaged one of their management group who has access to the reports and got it printed out and then gave it to me. They said no one had ever asked for it before - which I find a bit surprising. I think the DWP simply do not have a proper system in place to give this report out.

I would try your work coach and try your journal again also (and tell them the assessment company will only give it to the DWP) - and then if no luck I would go to your MP because you are entitled to get the report.

Mind you when we finally got the report I was amazed at what rubbish was written in it - things we had never said, tests we had supposedly done which definitely had not been done. I am not surprised they don't want to give the reports out, they should be ashamed of them.

I will ask the work coach for it again as I am just interested to see what they scored me the points for and what was written as my pip one was awful! Lots of things wrong and missed out!

I asked again in my journal and was told she had asked her manager who said they do not see or handle the form so they would not be able to send them out! Scared to keep asking now as don’t want to rock the boat ☹️ Why are we treated so badly
