Filling in UC claim online - ESA to UC managed migration was created by MAK
Hi
I live in Medway and am one of the unlucky ones being forced from ESA to UC.
I have been taking my time to prepare for my claim and have read the guides on here but don't understand this question in the online claim.

Medical treatments
Are you recovering from, receiving or expecting to receive any medical treatments?
Does this mean list all the medication that I take every day for all my different conditions or does it mean things like operations ?
Sorry if I'm a bit confused, that's how I am, but I live with it.
I have tried to search the site and the forum but can't find an answer.

The latter; operations, treatments such CBT or physio, new medication that you are not currently taking but will be in the near future.
If you are already receiving ESA then your current award should be carried over automatically, however, if the DWP decide your claim needs review then a UC50 will be issued and this has a section for your then current medication.
Note: If you are reassessed then this will be a separate process to the transfer and will not affect whether you are transferred or not.

Many thanks for your reply. I have downloaded the ESA to UC migration guide and I think that I now understand the process. I really hope that the DWP decides not to review my claim, but if they do I am getting prepared.
Using the guides on this website I won the reconsideration of my claim when going from IS to irESA and also won my first tier tribunal when moving from DLA to PIP five years ago.
I have continued to subscribe to B&W to support the excellent work that you do and as a way of saying "Thank you" for the information in the guides that enabled me to retain my benefits.
