Hi Sam
Welcome to the forum.
You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum
I am not aware of the Facebook message, but I do not use social media.
I did click on the link and noticed it was from the Independant Assessment Service, whether or not it is a scam I could not tell.

There are two medical assessment providers.

Hi Sam,
This is worrying me; the Assessment Provider accessing and using Facebook. This means they DO check peoples' social media which can then be used as a weapon if they deem fit to do so.
There was a case some years back ( I can't remember if I read about it on here or some other website) where the AP marked the claimant as 'a good social mixer' because they used Facebook.
Beware!
Regards,
Phrank.

The issue is not the AP accessing the Facebook page but the user not setting their security on FB to prevent this.
