I'm afraid I have to delete your post, we removed this content from the original post, whilst recording a phone assessment is perfectly legal releasing the content to a third party is not!

Hello Gordon, I wasn't aware of that, my apologise. It doesn't change the fact that I found listening to Craig Nigel Reading's increasingly distressing telephone conversation, difficult to listen to. It angers and deeply saddens me to think of how claimants with both mental and physical disabilities seem to be disregarded and totally misunderstood during their benefit claim process. That's on the back of my adult nephew who has a serious mental illness, Paranoid Schizophrenia, who's dealings with the DWP contributed to him being sectioned, evicted, homeless, assaulted etc etc. There appears to be no accountability for the consequences of the interaction many benefit claimants have with what I regard to be a 'Flawed' system and process. Sorry, rant over for today Gordon. Thanks for all your input here, I thought you were 'Taking it easy'! x

Hi SUE CC

Your rant is perfectly understandable.

Gordon does drop in now and again.

Sorry -- not sure if this is relevant -- but based on the question for your post...they usually call to 'check' the number before the assessment day, if a telephone interview and then (I've found) often pretend they called on the assessment day, and blame technical issues if you question their not calling.

And they ought to forewarn people about these 'test' calls. But don't.
