I'm going to ask for my PIP claim to be looked at again as I believe I meet criteria for a higher award. I am a bit concerned with the royal mail postage strikes and both receiving and sending my form back on time. Will DWP use this as not received on time?
If you're asking for a change of circumstances - the date you made the request will be logged on the system, as will the date the form is sent to you. If you don't receive it within a week, you need to keep ringing so they know you haven't received it. If there's a danger you're going to miss the deadline, you ring and say when you received the form. When you send it back - don't leave it until the last moment and send it with tracked postage - showing that it should have been received on time.
