Change of circumstances was created by Kittykatz
Hello,
When asking DWP to look at my circumstances again, is there a chance they can remove my current award or is this only possible at tribunal? Is it the case that social security Scotland won't do this? Nothing in my current award has changed and there are further descriptors I'd like to apply for.
Do I write the new descriptors as if I have got worse than when I had my last review?
Thanks in advance.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Kittykatz
When people put in for a change of circumstances, it triggers a review, and yes, it is possible that someone could lose their award, but I haven't heard of it happening very often.
I can't tell you what Social Security Scotland is doing in such circumstances.
If you have worsened since your last review, you tell them. If it is a new condition, you need to make clear that it is an issue you have had for at least three months prior to the review and it will continue to be a problem for at least the next nine months.

Hi
If you live in Scotland if you report a PIP change of circumstances this should result in a transfer to Scottish Adult Disabilty Payment and re-assesed by Social Security Scotland
