Tribunal was created by Caz1
Hi, I have my tribunal on the 17th November it’s taken since September 2021 to get here
My question is, even though I don’t know what the outcome will be
Do the tribunal look at the evidence before the 17th and if they made a decision in my favour, do they then get in touch with DWP to tell them that’s what they are going to do on the 17th, giving them the option for them to contact me before the tribunal date to say they have reviewed it again and have decided to award me the award I used to have
I am 1 point from being awarded what I have been on since 2016, I am hopeful I will get it back, from the 3 descriptors they decided to now take from me
Should I not be so hopeful, for a positive outcome, thanks……….Caz

Hi Caz1
The Tribunal will meet on the 17th of November, and although the individual members of the panel will have read the papers they would not have met or discussed it before that point - so no they don't contact the DWP before that date.
The DWP sometimes contact claimants before a tribunal and make a new offer. They sometimes do this when they know they are going to lose.
I hope you get the outcome you're hoping for. Good luck.
