Hi im 57 year old and i claim ESA and was placed in the support group, also get standard pip,. I have got myself into debt, so i have taken out a Drawdown option on my pension, I will be able to pay off my debt of £5,000 and will have around 2,000 in my bank account, but im wondering if my ESA and pip will be stopped? Any help on this is much appreciated.

Pay the debt immediately the money is in your account, better still if you can, ask your pension provider to pay the money directly.
If you are only receiving legacy ESA(CB) or NS ESA, then your savings do not affect your ESA.
If your receiving legacy ESA(IR) then any capital in excess of £6000 need to be reported, which is why the debt needs to paid immediately as a couple of days won't be a problem. There is an absolute limit of £16,000 after which you lose entitlement to ESA(IR).
PIP is not affected by savings or income.
