would I receive my PA4 separate from my SAR/RAR or would they lump them together

I still haven't decided whether to appeal my PIP review award or not yet. I found an email address on the letter they sent me confirming I had asked for a RAR (not SAR) and emailed asking when i would receive my PA4. I have now received an email from DWP right of access management saying that I requested the PA4 on the 19th Oct (it was actually the 18th) and that it will be posted out to me on the 21st Nov. Given that I might not receive for a few days after that can I possibly ask for another extension after asking for the first one in a few days time (the original award letter they sent me was dated 12 oct so I will need to ask in a few days for an extension but I feel I will need another one on top of that).

Also, on the 18th Oct I phoned and asked for my PA4 and they said it would take a few of weeks (but I see some people receive it sooner but I haven't received it yet and I have been worried sick that one of my neighbours got it instead) . I applied for a SARS for my previous PIP/DLA/ESA on the 19th Oct. I am wondering if they have now lumped the separate PA4 request in with the SARS request?

Would they treat the 2 requests separately or would they lump them in together?

If separate is it too early to be worrying that I havent received it or do you think it would have been sent out by now (which means it may have got into the wrong hands)? thank you

Hi mumsgirl

Short answer is yes, the requests are seperate as they are done via different departments.

Your post is a bit confusing as you talk about PA4 and appealing a decision, you cannot appeal a decision until you have requested a mandatory reconsideration (MR).

You can apply for an out of time MR if you miss the one month deadline, the maximum time is 13 months but you will need a good reason why you are applying for a MR outside the one month time limit, you may want to argue waiting for a PA4 is a good reason as you need to know what the assessor has written before you can appeal.
