Online or letter requesting application form

Hello

I read on the Gov.uk website about how to claim for PIP and I can either ring or write to request a paper application form.

Is there any disadvantage to applying by letter?

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hi Deb

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum

It is quicker over the phone, usually around 20 mins, but some claimants cannot talk to strangers so they can only use paper application form.
