Hello,

Can anyone advise if there is any advantage or disadvantage in ringing to request an application form or requesting one in writing.

Other than time to receive the application form?

Thanks in advance..

Hi Deb

I have answered your previous post, once you can get through to the DWP it is quicker to start the process by phone, they will ask you for your bank a/c details and your doctors details along with details as to why you want to claim PIP, in total it takes about 20 mins, they will then send you the PIP form to compete or ask if you want to claim on line, some claimants find it easier to make a paper claim others prefer to apply on line.
