Late returning a Review PIP Form was created by Kitkat40
Hi,

I am really worried as I have already had 2 extensions so will be refused anymore and the deadline for form to be in by is next Monday 28th Nov.

I can’t expect to be excused anymore but truth is I’ve been so worried about my husband being long term poorly and other major concerns, this took a back step and then I remembered about the post strikes.

Form is ready but worried it won’t get there on time. Would it be worth asking a family member if they be so kind to travel to Wolverhampton and post it personally?
I would pay petrol of course but it’s quite some travel time if that option wouldn’t be viable.

Many thanks.

Hi Kitkat40

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum

Send your form by recorded next day delivery (silver) it costs slightly more but your form will get there by the next working day. keep the receipt, check online when it has been delivered, once it's delivered contact DWP to check it has been put on their system.

Just to pick up on your last point, the mail centre receives forms by the lorry full, I would not expect them to accept a personal delivery of the form.

If you get to the Post Office early on Saturday then I would expect, as Gary has suggested, that a Next Day delivery will get there for Monday.
