PIP Moving around was created by MrFibro
Hi to all,

Just wanted to ask a question, as in regarding to the PIP mobility / moving around question. I,e using aids.

As i have poor physical mobility, and also with longstanding problems in both feet. The podiatry teams report, which i have just dug out, states that I have to wear special footwear, and also stated that I need special adapted insoles to help and give both feet support because of bla bla bla conditions with both feet.

And also I have to do every day a regime of exercises for my feet, leg calf, muscles etc.

1 - Would wearing all the time adapted footwear's with specially fitted insoles designed for my feet only, be constituted as to having, and using an aid. ?

2 - Would the daily exorcises also constitute, to having to do home treatment and or therapy - feet, and calf leg muscle exercises. ?

3 - The exercises I cannot do everyday as it's causing me to much spinal pain, meaning i have to abandon the exercises, due to pain, discomfort, and fatigue. The podiatry team know about this, but still recommended me to do these exercises.

Should I mention this in a letter prior to my pip review ?

Any & all advice regarding my questions, would be most welcomed from any MODS and subscribers.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi MrFibro

I would mention both if you use the adapted footwear's with specially fitted insoles designed for my feet only, explain why you use them, can you walk without wearing them, if you can are you in pain. how far can you walk with or without them.

You need to explain why you are asked to do the exercise and what stops you from completing the exercise.

The why part of each question is the important part, why do you use adaptions? why you cannot complete the exercise?
