This is probably a silly question

How do you respond to the tell us if something has changed and when questions on the PIP review form, if nothing has changed.

Do you simply write no change but explain under the next question how you do the said activity.

Hi Wilson28

Different members do it different ways, some members will write no change and then explain how their condition affects them as it if was a new claim using their previous claim as a template.

Other members will leave it blank but mark where they have written the answer i.e. see page x of y

I usually advise claimants to write no change but give a full explanation as to how their condition affects them, if there is a deterioration explain what has deteriorated and how it has affected you. you may use this answer on more than one question.

If you need extra paper it is perfectly OK for you to type your answers and attach them as extra pages to the form, just make sure that each page has your full name and NIN at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing. Make sure you clearly mark on the form where your answers are and on the relevant page that you are answering question X.

I would not split your answers across the form and attached pages, do one or the other for each activity (not question), splitting it risks the second part of your answer not being read.

Attach the pages to the back of the form using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.

Thank you for your response Gary.

Just to double check so you mean under tell us how your condition affects you, you write please see attached page 1 for my answer. So rather than start writing then run out of space and have lots of part answers written on the form and then continued on another typed page.

This would make life so much easier as my husband can type this information for me so I only have minimal writing to do.

Hi Wilson28

Yes, you can write "please see attached page X' under every question and then attach your sheets.
