Capita policy check was created by Goldilocks1957
Had a Capita telephone assessment for PIP almost 3 weeks ago. Rang DWP this morning to request a copy of the PA4 to be told they hadn't received the assessment report. Was advised to ring Capita who told me my report had been sent for a policy check. Advised to call back Friday to see if there had been any progress. Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks

Hi Goldilocks1957

I'm sorry this has happened to you. We do hear about this from time to time. It's an internal audit by Capita and you just happen to have been one of the unlucky ones to have been randomly picked. It's a bind, but keep on at Capita to find out what progress has been made.

Had a text from CAP to inform me they had received the assessors report today.

Hi gary,

i was under the impression that, soon as the assessor has finished the assessment, and compiled their report, he/ she sends it off directly to the DWP for final judgment by a DM ?

Or does the assessors report get checked by someone else in capita before its sent to the DWP's DM.

REGARDS.

Hi Mr Fibro

Both Capita and IAS have their own internal audits - so some reports are chosen at random and are therefore held back before they reach the DWP.
