Hi im on carers allowance. I work part time at the supermarket.dwp have written to me that my pay must not exceed £528.03 per month . I am getting close to this and worry It will stop. It does say in the letter i can pay someone out of wages to care for the person when im not there.who is permitted to take on my role when i work .can i for example ask a family member? Thanks
You can earn up to £132 a week before your CA is affected.
CA is non-contributory. It counts in full as income for means-tested benefits, it is an overlapping benefit.
