Severe Disability Premium was created by Jatt90
Hi, I currently get ESA within the support group and my brother lives alone with his 13 year old son. My brother gets PIP Daily Living standard rate.
If I move in with him, would I lose my Severe Disability Premium?
He only gets PIP Daily Living and Child Tax Credits for his 13 year old. He does not get any disability premiums or UC or ESA.
Thank you.

Hi Jatt90

No you should not loose your SDP as your brother gats a qualifying benefit.

I would double check with your local Welfare Rights Organisation as they will be able to take all your circumstances into consideration; you can find your local Welfare Rights Organisation to help you with advice by clicking on the link below and putting in your post code, it will then come up with a MAP with a list of agencies. advicelocal.uk
