Pip Review Delay and outdated Evidence was created by dartsmad
My wife returned her pip review form in October 2021. Some twelve months later she received a text from DWP saying it was still waiting to be looked at.
A few days ago she received a further text this time from Independent Assessment Services saying they were managing the review and would contact us further if there was need for a consultation.
Our concern is they are looking at evidence some 16 months old and some of my wife’s conditions have deteriorated since then.
Is there any way now where we can update her conditions with the DWP or Independent Assessment Services?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi dartsmad
If you think any new information would make a difference to a decision on her award, it has been such a long time; you can always send an update to the DWP and ask them to forward it to IAS.

In fairness we had thought of that but given the timescale already can’t see much chance of any additional information ever getting from Dwp to Ias before any consultation. Surely there must be a strong case for appeal if you can show that the Health professional is making his report on outdated information

Hi dartsmad
HCP's can only make decisions on the evidence they have in front of them. If a claimant has an ongoing decision that is 2/3 years old then it is still relevant, you need to show that any supporting evidence you send in, is still relevant.
