Hi all Happy New Year
I tried to update PIP by phoning, a lot has changed with my health and I usually phone and they add to my notes.
This time was different the person on the phone tried to convince me that if I tell DWP of changes they may well drop my money or probably lose it all together.
I have always kept them updated about my situation is this something new?
Please advise it is my medications mostly but my health has deteriated.

By the sounds of it, it was a scare tactic but there is some truth in what they told you. If you phone up DWP and inform that your health has either deteriorated or improved then it is classed as a change in circumstances, in which case you could be sent a new PIP form to complete.
Unless you are on the standard component of PIP and your condition has deteriorated then there is no point in contacting DWP as it will make no difference to your claim, but it does put additional strain on the DWP.
Remember not all deteriorations in health conditions result in being awarded additional points.

Thanks for your answer, my husband has heart problems and Parkinson's as well as other problems, his meds are around 40 pills a day he is getting worse. Not helped by the fact he can't get to see his Parkinsons nurse ( seen once in over a year) no appointments we have been told.
But we can't risk losing PIP so we will do nothing.
