Hi
I asked for a manatory reconciliation for my PIP award as in 2022 it was found I have a terminal disease with no cure . ( hopefully not going to die within 6 months ) but there is no cure. My mobility is affected badly by my disease.

The last contact with DLA was July 2019 , where they just left my PIP in place due to covid . But now they are saying that the manatory reconsideration will not be looked at until 0ctober 2023 .

I don't know if there is a timescale the DWP have to adhere to or what I should do about it . It seems a never ending road .
Any help would be great .
Thanks

Hi Kerry

Your post does not make sense.

In your first paragraph you state that you asked for a MR for your PIP award as you was informed in 2022 that you have a terminal disease.

In your second paragraph you state 'the last contact with DLA was July 2019'

To apply for a out of time MR, the absolute time limit is 13 months from the decision date. You have not stated the date when your PIP was awarded.
