PiP Award and Timescale Info was created by Brian1888
Thank you to everyone at Benefitsandwork for comprehensive guides, info, etc.
I used guides to help me with review form and telephone assessment.
After PiP review I have been informed that I will continue to receive low rate daily living and high rate mobility.
The only change is that it is going to be an ongoing award, previously I was awarded for 5 years.
The medical professional from IAS who conducted my telephone assessment was extremely pleasant, easy to understand and gave me enough time to answer questions.
I honestly can't say anything bad about this person or how it was conducted.
Below is timescales during whole review process -:
June 2022 I received assessment form and was sent text on 1st July to inform me they had received my completed form.
Around beginning of November received text message and letter informing me that a telephone assessment would take place 14th November @ 9.15am.
On the 14th November @ 9.15am received telephone call to inform me that the assessment was cancelled.
Was rearranged for 12th December @ 10am.
Telephone call 10am from medical professional and assessment was carried out.
Assessment lasted for exactly 2 hours and 15 minutes.
On the same day I received text to say DWP had received medical report..
Finally received award letter today.
If I can offer any advice it would definitely be to do your homework.
Thoroughly read B+W guides, don't just skim over, there's always something you might have missed.
Knowledge is power and goes a long way to giving you more confidence through this whole tiring, anxiety laden and lack of sleep process.
Many Thanks Again.

good to hear, have read over the guidance as completing my PIP review following claim in 2019 and tribunal won end of 2020. Its stressful. I wonder if you originally was awarded via claim or you had to go to MR and tribunal to get awarded initially?
