Reduced PIP payment. was created by Ted Pea
Hi,
My PIP payment on Friday was about two thirds of what it should have been.
I haven't heard anything from the DWP about this.
They renewed it last summer until January 2023, but they haven't contacted me, and there's only ten days left till February.
So.... I'm worried that my reduced payment on Friday was my last one ever.
Although....something similar happened a while back, and it was something to do with calendar months catching up with payments.
I don't think this was in January though.
It's really stressful when they do things like this, and it's really stressful to have to ring them and ask.
Does anyone know...
Is there some kind of calendar month/tax year/accountancy reason why PIP payments might be low this month?
(In which case I can relax)
Has the DWP made some kind of big PIP error for everyone?
(In which case I can relax)
Or, have they forgotten to write to me to reapply again for PIP, and now they've cut me off?
(In which case I certainly can't relax)
Or, has a letter gone missing in the post, and now they've cut me off?
(I would expect a second letter, but we're dealing with the SS here)
Help, please.

Hi Ted pea, the only way to find out about your reduced payment is to phone PIP, they are human just like you and are only doing their jobs
Please pick up the phone, as your new claim will need to be sorted so you aren't left without money, and an award for too long.
Good luck
