I have been waiting for a PIP review for over a year and will reach penshionable was created by Anniepannie
I have been waiting for a PIP review for over a year and will reavh penshionable age this week. Will I still have to jave my review or will I go on a 10 year light touch review. Has this happened to anyone else?

It will be interesting to see what feedback you get. From my experience, it seems to be a mixed picture. I know of people like you who have reached pensionable age and have yet to hear anything, some who have received a letter saying they will be reviewed in ten years' time. A handful of people who had to fill in a review form - had paper-based assessments and then received the ten-year award and three people who had to have a telephone assessment. Haven't been able to work out why the variation.

Just to clear this up, Light Touch Reviews are for claimants with an On-Going award only, you may receive such an award now that you have reached SRA but this review will be a "normal" one.

I have had word today that I am having a telephone assessment
