PIP extensions was created by Helz123
Hello
Just wondering if anyone in similar position.
I received standard pip after a tribunal in June 2021 it was stated on the award letter for 3 years from Nov 2019 to Nov 2022. I was under the impression that awards after tribunal were for the alloted time only and have to reapply rather than receive review forms. I have not received any correspondence but I have still received PIP payment December and January. Does anyone know if there is an automatic PIP extension despite how award was achieved. I am grateful for still having but don't want to be facing an overpayment repayment in the future.

Hi Helz123

The DWP should have informed you if your award has been extended. I'm glad you have received payment, but if you can face it, you might want to ring and ask them what is happening. You don't want any nasty surprises.

Hi Helz123 ,

If it was awarded via tribunal then I would definitely phone them to ask for a new/review form.

Good luck
