UC WCA timeframe was created by Clarebear
Hello Everyone,

I claimed UC for my daughter last April. She has learning disabilities, ASD, OCD, mental health, physical disabilities & self harms due to inability to communicate. The GP has provided fit notes from day one, I completed a UC50 in July. I'd heard nothing & the jobcentre were insisting on my daughter attending work commitment interviews even though I'm her appointee & she sat there with headphones on refusing to engage with anyone. I've asked repeatedly what was happening with her Work Capability & got nowhere.
Today I finally discovered that a decision was made last August that no assessment was needed & she was placed in LCW&WRA group by ESA. All of the paperwork by Health Care Services was sent to ESA, not UC. So for months my daughter has experienced trauma & anxiety for no reason. ESA say they notified UC, UC say they've got no record of it. At this moment in time I just want her UCClaim updated & any money owing to her paid but I'm not convinced it will happen very easily. ESA are sending me the notification they failed to send me in August & are apparently sending everything to UC again. Any advice for my next step will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Ive reached an age where my thermostat appears to have broken :-(
