Thank you so much for your reply, I was very confused by the call because I had two hospital incidents, one where I was admitted and in ICU, and the other where I wasn't admitted, because there weren't any beds, and had treatment via ambulatory care, and ongoing investigations, all of which I have uploaded onto the online evidence system. What confused me was the nature of the call given that I have provided all the evidence and she talked at me, rather than with me, and insisted my GP wouldn't have discharge letters etc, which is downright weird. I suppose I should have asked should I ignore the call, which I want to because I found the call frightening and weird. I wanted to let people know my experience of the online application system. Because she confused me I didn't gather my thoughts quick enough to ask her enough questions, but she seemed to be saying that they couldn't read the uploaded evidence because every time the applicant uploads something new it creates a job ticket. Bearing in mind I uploaded everything regarding the first hospital stay in October, and the second as soon as it happened in early December ( no admission) and she was muddling the two separate incidents. She seemed to be saying that the system stops them opening the evidence because they have to be opened in order or something, I didn't quite get it. I had a migraine when she rang and she rattled at me. The other thing was I wasn't expecting to be called by them. She didn't give me a number to call her back on, or another number to submit the dates to once I'd worked them out for her. Plus she kept changing her mind whether I'd got an award or not.

Hi, just to update everyone, this woman rang me back, and I missed the call. She left a very garbled voicemail with her name but it was very hard to make all the words out, this morning, saying she would call again and the dates do not affect the benefit anyway. I managed to miss that one as well. The message she left was a very different tone saying she had exhausted all call allotments I think is the word, hard to make out, and I would need to call in with the dates, she'd put me down for seven days, when my evidence clearly says I was not admitted to hospital because they didn't have any beds. I won't be phoning, I will be writing. She also didn't put the phone down properly and I heard her and her colleagues talking about how benefit could be suspended for the dates I was in hospital. I've got the voicemail.

For everyone claiming PIP online, I got this resolved today. Cut a long story sideways, it was a PIP decision maker ringing me. She had already decided on the award. The letter has been sent out. I haven't received it but the text says allow two weeks for it to arrive. That leaves me two weeks to do the MR if I don't agree with the decisions. I applied in October 22. I was hospitalised in December 20, in Kings College, during the first phone conversation, when she asked for the dates, this is the hospital I told her I was in, and could not remember the exact dates. That is because I wasn't hospitalised December 22, but the DM was referring to 22, she just wasn't making herself clear to me. It was clarified in a call from and to my daughter, that a letter I uploaded onto the system dated 16th Jan 23, had led her to believe I'd been admitted. It was a letter with a colonoscopy appointment, which at the top said, on admission. The admission referred to A&E, but didn't explicitly say it. All of my other evidence, submitted in January explains it. When I called today I asked if this meant that the DM hadn't read the rest of my evidence, because she openly admitted to me she hadn't. Something to do with how each upload creates a job ticket. So be warned. The word admission is a trigger for an investigation and she put me down for 7 days, even though the rest of my evidence makes it crystal clear I was never admitted because there wasn't any beds.

Hi, to let everyone know where this is up to - the Award letter arrived and the DM had just taken everything from the AP4, and gone one better by deciding that breathing problems shouldn't be a barrier to mobility. It's quite a nasty letter actually. I feel like I'm being accused of lying and being a fraud. She also decided that I wasn't getting treatment for another condition I am getting treatment for, so I do think I was right, that she hadn't read any of my evidence. So much for the uploading facility if they don't read it. I've submitted a MR today, in plenty of time, with evidence she discounted, I'm not expecting it to be accepted, I'm expecting to be forced to tribunal. This is why I didn't apply for years. I printed and posted everything. For that I've had to buy a new printer, paper and ink. So I'm no better off with the back payment. If ATOS nurses are on £44,000 the DWP salary band will be very similar. So far its cost £120,000 to save £60 from me.

Hi,
Just to let everyone know, as expected, the MR was refused. Will start on Monday looking at how to appeal to tribunal. Can't now, have a three day migraine.
