My PIP was extended to 28/02/2023 because of Covid but in April 2022 I received PIP.1021 for review. I sent in the form on time with all my medical evidence (a lot). I have confirmation from Royal mail of the delivery and also a text from DWP in September 2022 advising of receipt and they will progress it for review in due course.
As the review was still outstanding and it still is at the time of writing this, I had developed a new condition and I notified DWP about this and to pass the information onto IAS to take into account when they carry out the review. I did this because there was a similar case from another member in the forum and the advice given was to send the new information to DWP to pass onto IAS as the review had still not been carried.
Shocking, I have been sent a new PIP.1021 to complete because my needs have changed and this is even before they have actually carried out a review of the original!
I am now confused as to what I should do. Should I phone DWP and talk to them or complete the new form again and send it back. This will mean re-printing an extensive list of medical evidence. The deadline given is 08/03/2023.
Can someone please advice?

Hi Harishah
You need to call the DWP and confirm that they want you to complete the form (which I suspect they will). Don't just ignore the form, or they may say your form has not to be returned and cancel your claim. You need to find out exactly what is happening. Make a note of the person you speak to and send a letter confirming whatever you are told in writing.

Thank you for your answer.
I did try phoning but was constantly gettting an aswering machine saying they are extremely busy. I will keep trying and also try to extend the return date if they want me complete the form again.
Thank fully I have copies of all my answers that I sent in April 2022. I just need to tweek a few descriptors that are directly affected by this newly diagnosed condition of Plantar Faciitis which is extremly painful with mobility and standing if your aware of the condition.
I will fill the form which basically copying everything from the last one and have all my evidence printed and ready to submit if they ask for the new form to be completed.
In hindsight maybe I should not have bothered telling them but I was trying to be honest with them so it's a lesson to be learnt if anything like this happens again next time around.

I wanted to know when sending medical evidence and if there are a lot of pages to send, would it be acceptable to staple them or should they be tagged with name and national insurance numer quoted on each paper.
I believe DWP scan these so they may not accept stapled paperwork?
Can someone please clarify?
Thanks

Hi Harishah
Attach the pages to the back of the form using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.
Make sure that each page has your full name and NINO at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing.
Make sure you clearly mark on the form the page number of your supporting document.

Hi Gary,
Thank you.
I have put my name and national number at the bottom of the pages becuase there was not much space on top. I will highlight these. Hope they will see and accept?
I have separated all my medical reports and others separately becuase in all they all amount to a total of 169 pages due to nature of my medical conditions. If I number each batch separately and then the relevant number of pages contained in each batch would be this okay.
Obvioulsy I will need to quote each batch number and pages contained in the form to the descriptors these apply to. Would this be acceptable to them?
Regards,
Thank you.
