PIP online form was created by annda
Apologies, I imagine this has been covered before, but I couldn't find a post easily.

I am helping my daughter apply for PIP for the first time. I also claim PIP and wouldn't have it if it weren't for the excellent guides on this website :)

I have always used paper forms in the past and supplied considerable amounts of additional information. When I checked the UC online form, the boxes for explanation seemed to be limited to a particular, small word count. Is this the case with the PIP online form? Can you give as much information as you need to in the boxes?

Hi annda

Thank you for your question, I have not done an online claims form so I am unable to tell you.

I will leave it for forum members who have had first hand online experience to answer your question.

Hello

The online PIP form has a section for each activity where you can provide your verbal evidence. You can submit a maximum of 5000 characters of text for each activity. If that is not enough then you can add additional documents when uploading your supporting evidence. If you can convert your Text into a PDF file then title it "Additional information for Question ** Continued" then save it and name file "additional-information-question-**.pdf then on the activity reference that file to see further information. Remember to include your Name, National insurance number and date of birth on the contents of each page of additional information you include.

Hope that helps
