Good PIP phone assessment HP report HOWEVER was created by Loz
Okay had pip phone assessment 15th Feb recorded by Capita and ourselves (not covertly) with her knowledge rang for report Monday 20th got the next day ,,,she has stated that applicant meet descriptors to now receive enhanced D Living due to now suffering hyper vigilance and health anxiety and and enhanced Mobility for once recognised worsening physical limitations , report is really good refers to all regs and evidence etc and Capita audited it before sending to DWP, however when asked about driving it was stated not driven since last year and if applicant did"" its an automatic which had since 2019 and only familiar routes and not on own as cant handle scooter other end etc.All recorded ,however the HP report states its still a manual ? Its not totally verbatim the report and couple descriptions would with transcript explain those issues more .. but Will the fact she put driving a manual once again be an issue , as client on last assement was penalised for driving a manual? and applicant is concerned that the DWP will refute report if this is pointed out? If they the DWP challenge HP report?sorry its garbled been tough fortnight Thankyou in advance

If the assessor is recommending Enhanced awards for Daily Living and Mobility then it is unlikely that a Decision Maker will argue against this unless there is some legal reason for restricting the award, driving a car would not come under this heading.

Thankyou Gordon , its just a minefield with the driving isn't it, they throw the grip etc at you and "if that bad notify DVLA'....but driving is , if able such a Godsend mentally, and so needed ....We are still expecting points to be changed somewhere, as cant believe we had an angel of an assessor , after the last two experiences. We did ring DWP yesterday as sent in extra Evidence and the Lady did say she will check for it being scanned but looking at it, it doesn't seem needed ,and apart from if there any discrepancies theres nothing to worry about, So what can they see , the DWP side or just the CAPITA report recommendations ?? Said decision be in in less than 4 weeks , but doesn't stop the worry does it...Thankyou once again
