hi, my daughter is 6, she currently gets hrc and lrm. I did attempt to apply for the hrm when was 4 but was refused. My daughter has a diagnosis of severe autism, severe learning disability, she attends a special needs school. She has no awareness of danger, cannot communicate with speech, she does say words but is echolia. Her renewal is in september so i am trying to gather as much evidence as possble to try again for hrm. My daughter pulls other kids hair (not to hurt them, is due to her lack of understanding), the teacher will take her by the hand and move her away and then hold her hand so cannot go back and do it again, would this count as restraint?

Hi kezz777
I can't tell you exactly how they will view it, but I would you could use it as an example, making it as clear as you have done so here that it is by holding her hand and moving her away from the situation.

yes, her teacher is doing a supporting letter to go with the application, so will be explained in the letter along with her other needs. She also eats items which are not food, so has to be watched constantly due to that. She has a specialist buggy for when we are out as she is not safe unless is in there or on reins.
