Hello
It's my first time posting here, though I've been a member for a while.
I've received a letter dated March 2023 from DWP and ISPOS, sent direct from IPSOS, entitled "DWP Digital Skills - Service Transformation research". I see from a search on the forum that other members received letters from IPSOS towards the end of 2022, though I'm not sure whether the subject title was the same.
The thing that really bothers me about this is the transmission of my personal data to IPSOS without my consent. Surely this is illegal under GDPR 2018?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi HIW
Welcome to the forum.
You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum
Your question is outside the remit of the forum, I am no expert on GDPR, I would point you in the direction of the Information Commissioner's office; ico.org.uk who will be able to answer all your concerns about GDPR.

imo never ever do ANY marketing or research unless certain it benefits you.
IPSOS is nothing more than a giant marketing company, they profit from your personal information/data. DWP being the Slime Personified will have given out your details/data/information.
say no more
