Pip Telephone Assessment No Show

Today at 11am my wife was due to have a telephone assessment for PIP, she suffers terribly with Rheumatoid Arthritis and was hoping to get low rate care. At 11.20 she received a call cancelling the interview as the health care assessor was not available.

I understand that things can happen which can delay the interview but seriously waiting until the last possible moment to cancel the interview is shocking.

I understand that things can go wrong but common curtesy to their customers costs nothing.
